Dr. James Mazzara graduated from NYU in 1980 and New York Medical College in 1984. He completed two years of general surgery training at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Mazzara did research at NYC’s Hospital for Joint Diseases on compartment syndrome and orthopedic oncology, then went on to complete his orthopedic training at St. Luke’s. He practiced orthopedics independently, then was honored to join the highly regarded surgeons of Orthopedic Associates of Hartford.
